Education on pain management: An important grant established by PPF

For the second year, the Paolo Procacci Foundation (#PPF) has established a grant for education on pain management open to some countries. The name of the educational program is PPF-EDU.

This year the program FPP-EDU will offer educational grants covering the online registration to the Roma Pain Days 2023 (#RPD23) (June 15-17, 2023 - hybrid congress) of at least 400 participants who will meet the below criteria:

• Country of practice/work: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Moldova, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan
• Discipline of reference: all graduated MD or Nurse, less than 45 years old, with an interest in pain management. 

The Educational Grant will be on a “first come first served” basis.

All the registered participants are allowed to submit a maximum of 3 abstracts. Submissions should be done following the rules reported in the website page and sent to g.varrassi@fondazioneprocacci.org. The abstracts will be screened and approved by the Scientific Committee. All the accepted abstracts will be published on Signa Vitae, a journal with an impact factor.

#RPD23 will provide updates on the rapidly advancing field of pain and will include a wide array of topics such as acute pain, chronic pain, neuropathic pain, rheumatic pain, pain in palliative care, use of ultrasound in pain management, pharmacological management of pain, and Interventional management of pain.
